About Fingerspurt
Fingerspurt is a tap race for your phone over 100, 200 or 400 meters, arena style. You race the others, everyone on their own phone, by tapping your own runner: the more precisely you hit, the faster you go, while a sloppy tap sends you off course. Tap technique has no ceiling, but the track is full of glorious chaos that can flip a race in the last second.
Open alpha
Fingerspurt is in open alpha right now, so you are playing an early build that is still changing. Anyone can join straight in the browser, nothing to install.
How to play
One person creates a room and shares a code or a link with the others. The host starts the race, and the countdown runs on its own before you sprint the distance the host picked: 100, 200 or 400 meters. Along the way there are hurdles on the track with power ups that can make you bigger, faster, or knock over whoever they hit, depending on who picks them up.
Run a solo training
Nobody else around right now? Practice alone on the training track and see how precisely you can tap.
Install as an app
Fingerspurt can be added to your phone's home screen like a regular app, but it is entirely optional: the site works just as well straight in the browser, nothing to install.
